About
The Peter Jay Memorial Foundation was founded to help support LGBTQ+ people in their lives - through whichever challenges they are facing.

Pete made an incredible impact in the world, through his kindness of spirit, generosity of the soul and loyal friendship to so many of us. He was taken from the world far too soon.
Through this memorial foundation we remember Peter's legacy, to help and support others, building on the impact he made in his life.

Home: What We Do

Peter was a great inspiration to so many people.
He was a wonderful son to Hilary and Tony, brother to Eddy and uncle to Josie. Also, an exceptional musician and co-founder of the London Gay Big Band, a group which has given a tight community to many people. Tragically he died suddenly at the age of 33.

This foundation aims to help LGBTQ+ people who are struggling or facing challenges in their daily lives.

We do this through raising awareness of some of the challenges and fundraising for charity partners.

This year, our chosen charity is Switchboard, the LGBTQ+ helpline.
